2018 Mega Blood Drive for the Passover
Donors from Charlotte and Durham participated in the 2018 Mega Blood Drive. They donated enough blood to save up to 75 lives.
“Mother’s Street” Cleanup Movement
Members from Charlotte and Durham carried out “Mother’s Street” cleanups at local streets and parks. The movement took place in 175 countries and 6,000 regions simultaneously.
Firefighter Appreciation Gardening Volunteer Service
Volunteers honored firefighters in Cary, NC by planting gardens at two fire departments so that firefighters may harvest their own food at the stations.
Scott Futrell Dr Cleanup
Church of God volunteers removed trash from two fields on each side of Scott Futrell Dr. They cleaned up the area, which is by Charlotte Douglas International Airport, to brighten up their community.
Charlotte Blood Drive Spring 2017
The World Mission Society Church of God in Charlotte, NC held a blood drive to help lessen the severity of the seasonal blood shortage. Enough donations were accumulated to save more than 80 lives.
Sparger Road Neighborhood Cleanup
About 30 Church volunteers continued their environmental preservation efforts in North Carolina, removing waste and litter from Sparger Road, near the Eno River.
Charlotte Tunnels Cleanup
Church of God volunteers restored three Charlotte tunnels by removing graffiti, repainting the walls, and sealing the tunnels with anti-graffiti chemical solution.
Donation Drive to Help Louisiana Flood Victims
Church of God volunteers in Charlotte hosted the “Donation Drive to Help Louisiana Flood Victims” as part of the East Coast Volunteer Service Day 2016.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Appreciation Car Wash
Church members showed their appreciation towards the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department through a police appreciation car wash, in which they washed all of the police officers’ vehicles.
